Overview
Responsible for operating production environments, including systems and databases, supporting critical business operations at Oracle. Performs administration and analysis across multiple production environments while recommending innovative solutions to enhance availability, performance, and supportability. Opportunity to apply deep technical expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure for escalation support on complex issues involving growth, scaling, high performance, and availability.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain production systems and databases ensuring high availability.
- Perform advanced administration and performance analysis on multiple environments.
- Provide escalation support for complex production issues related to scaling and growth.
- Recommend novel solutions to improve system performance and reliability.
- Monitor and optimize Oracle Cloud Infrastructure for extreme high-performance needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in high-availability production environments.
- Collaborate with teams to support business-critical operations and cloud leveraging.
- Analyze system metrics to proactively address availability and supportability challenges.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience as a Systems Administrator in production environments.
- Deep knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and database administration.
- Proven expertise in high-availability, high-performance system operations.
