Position Overview

We are seeking a talented Program Manager 3-ProdDev to join our team in India, focusing on building world-class incident management capabilities for Oracle's cloud analytics products. In this role, you will lead incident response processes, drive operational excellence, and ensure high availability for mission-critical analytics services. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with engineering, product, and support teams to enhance reliability and customer experience in a fast-paced cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end incident management processes for cloud analytics products, including detection, triage, resolution, and post-mortem analysis
• Coordinate cross-functional teams during major incidents to minimize downtime and impact on customers
• Develop and maintain incident management playbooks, workflows, and escalation procedures to ensure consistent response quality
• Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures to reduce incident recurrence
• Monitor key metrics such as MTTR (Mean Time to Resolution), incident volume, and service level objectives (SLOs)
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to prioritize fixes and enhancements based on incident trends
• Facilitate incident review meetings and communicate lessons learned to stakeholders across the organization
• Build and mentor a team of incident responders while scaling processes for growing cloud services
• Integrate incident management tools and automation to streamline operations and improve efficiency
• Contribute to on-call rotation and ensure 24/7 coverage for critical analytics workloads

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 5+ years of experience in incident management, SRE, or production operations for cloud-based services
• Proven track record of managing high-severity incidents in a large-scale, distributed environment
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, analytics platforms, and service reliability principles
• Experience with incident management tools such as PagerDuty, Opsgenie, or ServiceNow
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical issues to non-technical stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams under pressure and drive consensus in ambiguous situations

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or similar cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Familiarity with analytics products like Oracle Analytics Cloud or big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Kafka)
• Certification in ITIL, SRE, or incident management practices
• Background in program or project management with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Scripting proficiency in Python, Bash, or similar for automation tasks
