Position Overview

There is an immediate opportunity for a Principal Program Manager (Program Manager 4-ProdDev) with exceptional cross-functional collaboration and problem-solving skills in our Brno, Czech Republic office. The ideal candidate brings a minimum of three years of experience in incident or problem management within a multinational IT company, along with a proven track record of delivering quality results in high-pressure environments. This role requires the ability to take direction, execute responsibilities using best-practice approaches, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced setting. ITIL experience is a valuable asset for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams in managing complex incident and problem resolution processes across global IT operations
• Coordinate program execution, ensuring timely delivery of initiatives in high-pressure production development environments
• Analyze root causes of incidents and develop proactive strategies to prevent recurrence
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and support teams to prioritize and resolve production issues efficiently
• Implement best-practice program management methodologies to optimize workflows and resource allocation
• Track and report program metrics, KPIs, and risks to senior leadership for informed decision-making
• Facilitate incident review meetings and drive continuous improvement in operational processes
• Mentor junior program managers and team members on incident management standards and tools
• Ensure compliance with IT service management frameworks and Oracle's internal policies
• Manage stakeholder communications, providing clear updates on program status and escalations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in incident or problem management within a multinational IT company
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality results in high-pressure, time-sensitive situations
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with a structured, best-practice approach to execution
• Experience managing programs in production development or IT operations environments
• Proficiency in program management tools such as JIRA, ServiceNow, or similar platforms
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English

Preferred Qualifications

• ITIL certification (Foundation or higher) or equivalent IT service management qualification
• Experience working in a global, matrixed organization like Oracle
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, SaaS, or enterprise software development lifecycles
• Advanced degree (Master's or MBA) in a relevant field
• Experience with agile methodologies and DevOps practices
