Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional programs addressing financial services regulations, including GDPR, PSD2, and AML requirements.
• Provide expert legal guidance to Oracle product teams on regulatory compliance for financial services offerings.
• Manage stakeholder engagement with regulators, industry groups, and customers on legal and compliance issues.
• Develop and implement risk assessment frameworks for new financial services products and features.
• Coordinate legal reviews and approvals for contracts, partnerships, and go-to-market strategies.
• Monitor evolving regulatory landscapes and advise senior leadership on strategic implications.
• Mentor junior legal staff and foster collaboration across Legal, Compliance, and Business teams.
• Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency in regulatory program management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in financial services regulation, preferably in a tech or consulting environment.
• Qualified solicitor or barrister with strong knowledge of UK/EU financial regulations.
• Proven program management skills with experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
• Excellent communication and influencing abilities at executive and regulatory levels.
• Deep understanding of cloud computing, SaaS, and fintech innovations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
