Building off our Cloud momentum, Oracle has formed Oracle Health & AI, a new organization focused on product development and strategy for Oracle Health. This net new line of business is constructing a complete platform for modernized, automated healthcare in an entrepreneurial, energetic environment. We seek an applied science leader to build a world-class science and engineering center emphasizing excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of applied scientists and engineers to develop cutting-edge AI models for healthcare applications.
• Define and execute the technical roadmap for AI-driven healthcare products and platforms.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and clinical teams to translate healthcare needs into scalable AI solutions.
• Drive innovation in areas like predictive analytics, natural language processing, and personalized medicine.
• Oversee research initiatives, publications, and partnerships with academic and industry leaders.
• Mentor and grow high-performing talent in applied science within Oracle Health & AI.
• Ensure AI solutions meet regulatory standards, ethical guidelines, and clinical efficacy requirements.
• Present strategic insights and progress to executive leadership and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or related field; 10+ years in applied science leadership.
• Proven track record leading AI/ML teams in healthcare or life sciences domains.
• Deep expertise in modern AI techniques including deep learning, LLMs, and generative AI.
• Experience with healthcare data standards (FHIR, OMOP) and regulatory compliance (HIPAA, FDA).
• Strong business acumen with demonstrated impact on product strategy and revenue growth.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
