Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable backend systems for AI-driven healthcare applications.
• Lead development of high-performance APIs and microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and cloud-native technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI/ML models into clinical workflows.
• Optimize database schemas and queries for Oracle Database and other relational/NoSQL systems.
• Implement secure, compliant data pipelines adhering to HIPAA and healthcare standards.
• Mentor junior developers and drive technical best practices across the team.
• Conduct code reviews, testing, and deployment using CI/CD pipelines on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Prototype and iterate on new features for the Clinical Digital Assistant platform.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of backend development experience with Java, Python, or similar languages.
• Expertise in building scalable RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Strong experience with Oracle Database, SQL, and cloud platforms like OCI or AWS.
• Proven track record in AI/ML integration and healthcare domain knowledge preferred.
• Deep understanding of security, compliance (HIPAA), and performance optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and experience leading technical projects.
