Overview

Join Oracle Applications Labs (OAL) as a Remote Senior AI Cloud Engineer in Mexico, designing, building, and operating scalable, intelligent cloud solutions for Oracle’s enterprise applications. Bridge AI-driven automation with OCI and middleware to enhance reliability, observability, and performance. Collaborate with engineers and product teams using modern cloud practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy scalable AI-powered cloud architectures on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Develop automated operations tools integrating AI/ML for predictive maintenance and anomaly detection.
• Optimize middleware and application performance using intelligent automation frameworks.
• Implement observability solutions with AI-driven monitoring and alerting systems.
• Collaborate with product teams to integrate AI features into enterprise applications.
• Build CI/CD pipelines for cloud-native deployments with automated testing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in distributed cloud environments.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to open-source AI/cloud projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in cloud engineering, preferably with OCI, AWS, or Azure.
• Strong proficiency in AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and automation tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices architecture.
• Experience with middleware (WebLogic, Kafka) and enterprise applications.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Go for developing cloud automation scripts.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and experience with agile methodologies.
