Position Overview

As Sales Director (Morocco) for Oracle Communications, you will lead sales strategies to drive revenue growth in the Moroccan market, targeting communications service providers and enterprises. This role demands a strategic thinker with deep industry knowledge to position Oracle's SaaS portfolio and foster long-term customer relationships. Reporting to the Regional Vice President, you will spearhead a high-performing sales team to achieve ambitious quarterly and annual targets while navigating the dynamic North African communications landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets within the Moroccan communications sector
  • Lead a team of sales professionals, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance management to drive results
  • Prospect and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers at service providers and enterprises
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations showcasing Oracle Communications SaaS solutions
  • Negotiate complex contracts, pricing, and renewals to maximize deal value and customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and partner teams to create tailored go-to-market plans
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform sales forecasting and pipeline management
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through consistent opportunity generation and qualification
  • Report on sales metrics, pipeline health, and forecast accuracy to senior leadership
  • Represent Oracle at industry events, conferences, and customer engagements in Morocco

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • 10+ years of enterprise software sales experience, with at least 5 years in communications or telecom sectors
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas in a competitive market environment
  • Strong leadership experience managing sales teams and driving team performance
  • Deep understanding of SaaS business models and communications industry challenges
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in both French and Arabic
  • Ability to travel within Morocco and occasionally regionally as needed
  • Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce or Oracle CX

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or MBA preferred
  • Existing network of contacts within Moroccan communications service providers
  • Experience selling to CSPs (Communications Service Providers) in EMEA region
  • Fluency in English for global collaboration
  • Prior success in launching SaaS solutions in emerging markets
