Sales Director-Tech Cloud

Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra, India

Overview

Lead and develop a high-performing sales team, driving revenue growth for Oracle Tech Cloud products in the territory. Oversee recruiting, training, and performance management while forging key partnerships to execute strategic sales plans. Achieve monthly forecasts through effective territory management and customer negotiations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a team of sales representatives, including recruiting, hiring, and training on Oracle sales processes.
  • Sell and promote Oracle products to customers, negotiating price, concessions, and terms of sale.
  • Supervise Regional or Branch Managers to ensure team alignment and performance.
  • Participate in strategic and tactical planning for the division.
  • Build relationships with license, consulting, and education field managers to develop joint account plans.
  • Develop and execute territory plans to maximize revenue.
  • Generate accurate monthly territory forecasts and revenue predictions.
  • Conduct weekly progress meetings and manage escalations with the sales team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 8+ years of enterprise software sales experience, with 3+ years in leadership roles.
  • Proven track record in cloud technology sales and revenue achievement.
  • Strong negotiation and customer relationship management skills.
  • Experience managing sales teams and developing territory strategies.
  • Excellent forecasting, planning, and analytical abilities.

Salary

Responsibilities

  • Manages and develops a team of sales representatives including recruiting, hiring, and training new reps on the Oracle sales process
  • May manage a Regional Manager or Branch Manager
  • Sells and promotes the sales of Oracle products to customers including negotiating price, other concessions and terms and conditions of the sale
  • Participates in strategic and tactical planning for the division
  • Builds working relationships with license, consulting and education field managers in the respective territory to develop joint account plans
  • Develops and execute a territory plan to maximize revenue
  • Generates and achieves monthly territory forecasts, and accurately predicts revenue on a monthly basis
  • Manages escalation
  • Conducts weekly progress meetings with sales team
