Responsibilities

  • Prospect and generate leads within the Japanese utilities sector to build a robust sales pipeline.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations showcasing Oracle's Utilities solutions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at utility companies.
  • Negotiate contracts, close deals, and achieve or exceed quarterly sales targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including pre-sales engineers and product specialists.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes in Japan's energy market.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and customer case studies for internal stakeholders.
  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote Oracle.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of proven sales experience, preferably in software/SaaS or utilities sector.
  • Strong understanding of Japan's utilities industry and energy market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in Japanese and English.
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in a B2B environment.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools like Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite.
