Overview

The Senior AI Application Engineer will design and operate high-performance, cloud-native application services on Kubernetes to power advanced AI agents, RAG pipelines, and large-scale distributed data workloads. You will engineer low-latency microservices integrating LLMs, agentic orchestration frameworks, and AI runtime components. This role involves rapidly prototyping and hardening production-grade capabilities to enable innovative AI-driven solutions on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop cloud-native microservices on Kubernetes for AI workloads.
• Integrate large language models (LLMs) and agentic orchestration frameworks into low-latency services.
• Build and optimize RAG pipelines and distributed data processing systems.
• Prototype innovative AI agents and intelligent automation capabilities.
• Hardening prototypes into scalable, production-grade services on OCI.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance AI solutions.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance in production.
• Stay current with AI technologies and contribute to engineering best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering with cloud-native applications.
• Strong expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Go for AI/ML application development.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG, and AI orchestration frameworks.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or similar cloud platforms.
