Overview

We are seeking a Senior AI/Big Data Engineer to join our AI Data Platform team in India, building a modern, scalable Lakehouse architecture using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) native services. This role involves leading the design and implementation of high-throughput, low-latency pipelines while governing the full lifecycle of structured, semi-structured, and real-time datasets. Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of scalable Lakehouse architecture on OCI.
• Build high-throughput, low-latency data pipelines for batch and real-time workloads.
• Govern full dataset lifecycle across structured, semi-structured, and streaming data.
• Integrate AI/ML models into data platforms for advanced analytics.
• Optimize OCI services like Object Storage, ADW, and Streaming for performance.
• Collaborate with data scientists and platform teams on end-to-end solutions.
• Implement data governance, quality, and security best practices.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive technical innovation in AI data platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in big data engineering with AI/ML platform experience.
• Expertise in OCI services (ADW, Object Storage, Data Flow, Streaming).
• Proficiency in Spark, Kafka, Python, and cloud-native data tools.
• Strong experience with Lakehouse architectures (Delta Lake, Iceberg).
• Hands-on with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and MLOps.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and experience in agile environments.
