Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is seeking an experienced Senior Applied Scientist (IC3) to join our Gen AI and AI Solutions Engineering team in Bengaluru. Responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced Gen AI models for OCI products and customer solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate AI into scalable cloud services.
• Conduct research on state-of-the-art AI techniques for generative models.
• Prototype and evaluate AI solutions for performance, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Work with customers to understand needs and deliver tailored AI engineering solutions.
• Mentor junior scientists and contribute to team best practices.
• Publish findings and represent Oracle at AI conferences.
• Optimize models for production deployment in OCI infrastructure.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in applied machine learning or AI research.
• Strong expertise in generative AI (e.g., LLMs, diffusion models).
• Proficiency in Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, and cloud platforms like OCI/AWS.
• Proven track record of deploying AI models to production.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
