Overview

Senior Cloud Support Engineer role at Oracle in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve critical incidents in OCI environments, including compute, storage, and networking.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for production issues and implement preventive measures.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts for support workflows using Python, Terraform, or Ansible.
• Engage with customers via support tickets, calls, and onsite visits to deliver exceptional service.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure health using OCI tools and third-party monitoring solutions.
• Collaborate with product development teams to report bugs and influence feature enhancements.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge base articles and training materials.
• Ensure compliance with SLAs and participate in on-call rotation for 24/7 support coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in cloud support, DevOps, or systems engineering.
• Strong expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or AWS/Azure equivalents.
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix administration, scripting, and container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Experience with networking protocols, security best practices, and database management (Oracle DB preferred).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
