Position Overview

The Senior Compliance Program Manager will play a pivotal role in the Oracle Data Centers Organization, ensuring robust compliance frameworks support our rapidly expanding OCI infrastructure, which has grown over 400% in the last two years and is poised for even greater expansion. This position involves leading compliance programs across global data centers, mitigating risks, and aligning operations with international regulatory standards. Reporting to the Compliance Director, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain the highest levels of operational integrity and regulatory adherence in a dynamic, high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive compliance programs for OCI data centers, ensuring alignment with global regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, SOC, and ISO standards.
• Lead risk assessments and audits across data center operations, identifying gaps and recommending actionable remediation strategies.
• Collaborate with legal, security, and operations teams to establish policies that support scalable infrastructure growth while minimizing compliance risks.
• Manage compliance training initiatives for data center staff, fostering a culture of regulatory awareness and accountability.
• Monitor regulatory changes and industry best practices, updating programs to maintain Oracle's leadership in cloud compliance.
• Oversee vendor compliance assessments and third-party audits to ensure supply chain integrity.
• Prepare executive reports and dashboards on compliance metrics, trends, and performance for senior leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance compliance processes and operational efficiency in a 400%+ growth environment.
• Coordinate responses to regulatory inquiries and support certification renewals for data center facilities worldwide.
• Mentor junior compliance staff and contribute to strategic planning for OCI's global expansion.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in compliance, risk management, or regulatory affairs within technology or data center environments.
• Proven track record managing compliance programs in high-growth, global organizations.
• Deep knowledge of data center regulations including GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, SOC 1/2, and ISO 27001.
• Strong project management skills with experience leading cross-functional teams and initiatives.
• Excellent analytical abilities to conduct risk assessments and interpret complex regulatory requirements.
• Superior communication skills, with experience presenting to executives and stakeholders.
• Ability to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CCEP, or equivalent.
• Experience in cloud infrastructure compliance, particularly with hyperscale data centers.
• Background in auditing or working with Big Four firms in a compliance capacity.
• Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure or similar cloud platforms.
• Advanced degree (MBA, JD) or specialized training in data privacy and security.
