Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant - Emergency Department to design, configure, activate, and support Oracle Health Millennium solutions for Federal agencies including the Department of Defense, U.S. Coast Guard, Veterans Affairs, and Indian Health Service. This role focuses on optimizing emergency department operations through expert implementation and ongoing support. Responsibilities

• Lead the design and configuration of Oracle Health Millennium Emergency Department modules.
• Configure workflows, rules, and interfaces to meet agency-specific requirements.
• Conduct system activation, testing, and go-live support for implementations.
• Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting, and optimization.
• Collaborate with Federal stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure compliance.
• Train end-users and develop documentation for emergency department operations.
• Integrate Millennium solutions with existing federal health IT systems.
• Participate in project management, status reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience implementing Oracle Health Millennium, preferably in Emergency Departments.
• Proven track record with Federal healthcare implementations (DoD, VA, IHS, or USCG).
• Deep knowledge of emergency department workflows and clinical operations.
• Strong configuration skills in Millennium EDM, Cerner Command Language (CCL), and PowerChart.
• Experience with federal regulations (HIPAA, FISMA, Section 508) and security protocols.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
