Overview

An experienced consulting professional who has an understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs within a product/technology family. As a Senior Consultant - Infection Control, you will advise healthcare organizations on Oracle Health solutions to optimize infection prevention and control strategies. Leverage your expertise to drive compliance, reduce risks, and enhance patient safety across US-based clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead consulting engagements focused on Oracle Health Infection Control modules, implementing best practices for surveillance and reporting.
• Assess client infection control processes and recommend Oracle-based optimizations for regulatory compliance (e.g., CDC, Joint Commission).
• Configure and customize Oracle solutions for outbreak detection, contact tracing, and antimicrobial stewardship.
• Conduct workshops and training sessions for healthcare staff on infection prevention workflows using Oracle tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate infection control data with EHR and analytics platforms.
• Develop dashboards and reports for real-time monitoring of healthcare-associated infections (HAIs).
• Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement recommendations.
• Stay current on industry regulations and emerging infection threats to advise clients proactively.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in healthcare consulting, with focus on infection control or epidemiology.
• Proven expertise in Oracle Health (Cerner) solutions, particularly infection control and surveillance modules.
• Strong knowledge of US healthcare regulations (CDC, CMS, OSHA) and HAI reduction strategies.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for C-suite and clinical stakeholders.
• Ability to travel up to 50% within the United States.
