Overview

Senior Consultant - Java SQL is an intermediate consulting position in the Philippines, operating independently with some assistance to deliver quality work products. You will support project teams or customers using Oracle methodologies and practices. This role focuses on Java and SQL expertise to drive successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java applications integrated with Oracle databases.
• Design, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries and PL/SQL procedures.
• Collaborate with project teams to implement Oracle best practices and methodologies.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior consultants and customers.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with coding standards.
• Analyze system performance and recommend database tuning improvements.
• Participate in requirements gathering and solution design workshops.
• Deliver high-quality work products independently with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Java development and SQL with Oracle databases.
• Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL, JDBC, and related technologies.
• Strong understanding of Oracle methodologies and consulting practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and in team environments in the Philippines.
