Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, and packages for core banking applications.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into efficient database solutions using Oracle technologies.
• Perform code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning of PL/SQL codebases.
• Integrate PL/SQL components with core banking systems and front-end applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement database schemas and ETL processes.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance in banking database environments.
• Support deployment, testing, and maintenance of Oracle-based banking solutions.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to Oracle best practices adoption.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in PL/SQL development with Oracle Database.
• Strong expertise in core banking domain and related Oracle implementations.
• Proficiency in SQL tuning, indexing, and Oracle advanced features (e.g., partitioning, RAC).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and Oracle development tools (e.g., SQL Developer).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
