Based in London, this Senior Corporate Counsel role supports high-impact regulatory compliance and risk management initiatives. Responsibilities

• Provide expert legal advice on financial services regulations, including MiFID II, GDPR, and AML requirements.
• Draft and review contracts, policies, and disclosures for Oracle's financial products and services.
• Advise on regulatory investigations, audits, and enforcement actions involving UK/EU authorities.
• Collaborate with product, sales, and compliance teams to mitigate legal risks in customer engagements.
• Monitor regulatory developments and assess impacts on Oracle's cloud and SaaS offerings.
• Support M&A transactions and partnerships in the financial services sector.
• Develop training programs on regulatory compliance for internal stakeholders.
• Represent Oracle in industry forums, working groups, and regulatory consultations.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with 7+ years PQE in financial services regulatory law (Magic Circle/Silver Circle or top US firm preferred).
• Deep knowledge of UK/EU financial regulations (FCA, PRA, ESMA).
• Experience advising tech/fintech companies on cloud services and data privacy.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to translate complex regulations into business strategies.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced global environment.
