Overview

Oracle is seeking an experienced Senior Data Center Construction Manager to oversee data center builds by colocation providers across the US. This onsite role, based in the Midwest with ~25% travel, ensures projects meet schedule, quality, and design standards. Strong data center construction expertise is required; note relocation openness at the top of your resume.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction projects executed by colocation providers to ensure alignment with Oracle specifications.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to deliver on schedule and within cost targets.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to verify quality, safety, and compliance standards.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues promptly.
• Review and approve design changes, RFIs, and submittals for data center infrastructure.
• Monitor progress through reporting tools and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure adherence to environmental, health, and safety regulations on all sites.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including closeout packages and lessons learned.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data center construction project management, with colocation experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven track record managing large-scale ($50M+) data center projects.
• Deep knowledge of MEP systems, critical infrastructure, and data center standards (Uptime Tier, etc.).
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in project management software (Procore, Primavera, MS Project).
