Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of large-scale data centers, ensuring 99.99% uptime and reliability.
• Design, deploy, and maintain server, storage, and networking infrastructure in multi-site DCs.
• Lead capacity planning, forecasting, and optimization for compute and storage resources.
• Implement and manage power, cooling, and environmental systems for efficient DC operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software, and network issues under high-pressure scenarios.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support AI/ML workloads and cloud scalability.
• Develop automation scripts and tools using Python/Bash to streamline DC management.
• Ensure compliance with security standards, audit requirements, and disaster recovery protocols.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in data center operations and engineering.
• Expertise in Linux/Unix systems, virtualization (VMware/KVM), and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols, Cisco/Juniper hardware, and SDN solutions.
• Experience with hyperscale DC environments and high-density rack deployments.
• Proficiency in monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and DCIM platforms.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in 24/7 on-call rotations.
