Oracle is seeking an experienced Senior Data Centre Technician in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, with expertise in data centre design, operation, racking, stacking, and hardware break-fix. Responsibilities

• Rack, stack, and cable servers, storage, and networking equipment in data centre environments.
• Perform hardware break-fix repairs and replacements on Oracle systems and third-party hardware.
• Conduct data centre design reviews and contribute to operational improvements.
• Monitor and maintain power, cooling, and environmental systems for optimal performance.
• Execute scheduled maintenance, upgrades, and decommissions with minimal downtime.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across hardware, firmware, and OS levels.
• Document all activities, incidents, and changes in compliance with Oracle standards.
• Collaborate with global teams to support 24/7 data centre operations and emergencies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Centre Technician in enterprise environments.
• Proven expertise in racking, stacking, cabling, and hardware troubleshooting.
• Experience with data centre design, operations, and high-availability best practices.
• Familiarity with Oracle hardware, Linux/Unix systems, and networking fundamentals.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, 24/7 shift environment.
• Excellent English communication skills; German is a plus. Right to work in EU required.
