Oracle is seeking a Senior Data Centre Technician (m/f/d) to join our team in Germany, ensuring the reliable operation and maintenance of mission-critical data centre infrastructure. You will troubleshoot hardware issues, perform installations, and optimize systems for high availability in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain data centre hardware, including servers, storage, and networking equipment.
• Perform rack installations, cabling, and decommissioning of IT assets.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware failures, escalating complex issues to engineering teams.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance and inventory audits.
• Ensure compliance with data centre safety standards and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support capacity planning and expansions.
• Document all activities, incidents, and changes in ticketing systems.
• Respond to on-call emergencies and support 24/7 operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data centre operations or IT hardware support.
• Strong knowledge of server hardware (e.g., Oracle, Dell, HPE) and Linux/Unix systems.
• Experience with networking fundamentals and cabling standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Fluency in English; German language skills preferred.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, DCIL, CCNA) are a plus.
