Overview

Oracle is seeking a Senior Data Engineer specializing in AI and ML to join our innovative team in Mexico. You will design and deploy scalable data pipelines and ML models to drive cutting-edge AI solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform data into actionable insights for enterprise clients.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines for AI/ML workloads using tools like Apache Spark and Kafka.
• Develop and deploy machine learning models using TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Oracle AI services.
• Implement data ingestion, processing, and storage solutions on cloud platforms including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Collaborate with data scientists to productionize ML models and ensure model performance and scalability.
• Perform data modeling, ETL processes, and ensure data quality and governance standards.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, optimizing for cost, performance, and reliability.
• Integrate AI/ML solutions with Oracle enterprise applications and databases.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to best practices in AI/ML engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering with focus on AI/ML pipelines.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, Java, and big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, Kafka).
• Strong experience with cloud platforms, preferably Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Hands-on expertise in ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and experience with agile methodologies.
