Overview

Lead the design, development, and optimization of a scalable data platform to process, store, and analyze telemetry from OCI data centers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build robust data pipelines and deliver actionable insights. Drive innovation in data engineering practices to support Oracle's cloud infrastructure growth.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable data pipelines for high-volume telemetry data ingestion.
• Develop and optimize ETL processes using Spark, Kafka, and Oracle technologies.
• Implement data storage solutions on OCI platforms like Object Storage and Autonomous Database.
• Build real-time analytics and monitoring systems for data center performance.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to deploy data infrastructure via CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform data quality assurance and implement monitoring for pipeline reliability.
• Optimize queries and data models for cost-efficiency and performance.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to data engineering best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; Master's preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering with cloud platforms.
• Expertise in Spark, Kafka, SQL, and Python or Java.
• Strong knowledge of OCI, AWS, or Azure data services.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD tools.
• Proven ability to handle petabyte-scale data processing.
