Responsibilities

• Lead strategic planning and execution for physical networking infrastructure across OCI data centers worldwide.
• Oversee design, deployment, and maintenance of high-speed fiber optic, copper, and wireless network systems.
• Manage cross-functional teams of network engineers, architects, and operations specialists.
• Drive innovation in network capacity, reliability, and cost efficiency to meet OCI's exponential growth.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and data center teams to integrate networking solutions seamlessly.
• Develop and enforce standards for network performance, security, and scalability.
• Partner with vendors and suppliers for cutting-edge networking hardware and technologies.
• Monitor industry trends and lead initiatives to maintain OCI's competitive edge in physical networking.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in networking, with 8+ years in leadership roles managing large-scale physical infrastructure.
• Deep expertise in data center networking, fiber optics, DWDM, and high-density cabling systems.
• Proven track record scaling network infrastructure for hyperscale cloud providers.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing global, distributed engineering teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and executive levels.
