We're looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing team of Software Engineers in advancing our Telemetry and Observability stack. Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of 10-15 software engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
• Define and execute the technical roadmap for the Telemetry and Observability platform.
• Drive scalability, performance, and reliability improvements across distributed systems.
• Collaborate with product management, architects, and cross-functional teams to align on priorities.
• Implement engineering best practices, including CI/CD pipelines, testing strategies, and code reviews.
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure 99.99% uptime SLAs.
• Hire top talent, conduct performance reviews, and support career development.
• Champion cloud-native technologies and contribute to open-source observability initiatives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, with 5+ years in management roles.
• Proven track record leading teams building observability, monitoring, or telemetry systems.
• Deep expertise in cloud platforms (OCI, AWS, GCP), Kubernetes, and microservices architecture.
• Strong knowledge of tracing, metrics, logging (e.g., OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Experience with Java, Go, or Python; proficiency in distributed systems design.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
