Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer to join our database and Engineered System management team at Oracle in Mexico. You will develop and maintain software solutions using Java, JavaScript, SQL, PL/SQL, REST, and database technologies. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge Oracle products impacting global enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Java-based applications for database management systems.
• Implement RESTful web services to integrate with Oracle Engineered Systems.
• Write and optimize SQL and PL/SQL queries for high-performance data operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver product features.
• Debug and resolve complex issues in production environments.
• Develop JavaScript front-end components for management consoles.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Contribute to agile ceremonies and sprint planning activities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and relational databases.
• Experience with REST APIs and web services.
• Knowledge of JavaScript and modern front-end frameworks.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
