Overview

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers and applied scientists in building scalable AI/ML models and LLM agents.
• Define technical vision and roadmap for healthcare AI solutions aligned with Oracle's strategic goals.
• Oversee end-to-end development, from prototyping to production deployment of AI systems.
• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and healthcare domain experts to prioritize features.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA, FDA) in all AI/ML developments.
• Drive performance optimization, scalability, and reliability of AI platforms in cloud environments.
• Mentor team members, conduct code reviews, and foster a culture of innovation and excellence.
• Present technical progress, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering with 5+ years in AI/ML leadership roles.
• Proven track record developing LLM agents or generative AI solutions at scale.
• Deep expertise in machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and cloud platforms (Oracle Cloud, AWS).
• Strong understanding of healthcare domain, data privacy, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills with experience managing distributed teams.
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field (PhD preferred).
