Overview

Oracle is seeking a Senior Manager, Revenue Recognition to join our dynamic team in the United States. The ideal candidate brings strong ASC 606 technical expertise and experience with cloud business models in a fast-paced, evolving environment. This role offers the opportunity to drive revenue recognition strategies for our innovative cloud solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and compliance of ASC 606 revenue recognition standards across cloud and SaaS offerings.
• Oversee revenue recognition policies, processes, and controls for complex multi-element arrangements.
• Collaborate with Finance, Sales, and Legal teams to resolve revenue-related issues and ensure accurate reporting.
• Develop and maintain revenue recognition models, including contract reviews and performance obligation assessments.
• Provide technical guidance on subscription, usage-based, and professional services revenue streams.
• Conduct training sessions for finance teams on ASC 606 and cloud revenue principles.
• Support audits, disclosures, and SOX compliance related to revenue recognition.
• Monitor regulatory changes and industry best practices to enhance revenue processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification required.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in revenue recognition, with 5+ years focused on ASC 606.
• Proven expertise in cloud/SaaS business models and multi-element revenue arrangements.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in ERP systems like Oracle Cloud or similar.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities to influence cross-functional teams.
• Experience in a high-growth tech environment; Big 4 audit background preferred.
