Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable distributed systems for OCI's multi-tenant cloud platform.
• Optimize performance of high-throughput services handling billions of requests daily.
• Develop and maintain cloud-native technologies using Java, Go, or C++.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver new product features.
• Lead debugging and resolution of complex production issues in a 24/7 environment.
• Contribute to open-source projects and internal tools that enhance developer productivity.
• Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to uphold engineering excellence.
• Research emerging technologies to improve reliability, security, and efficiency of OCI services.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience; 8+ years in software engineering.
• Strong expertise in distributed systems, concurrency, and cloud computing principles.
• Proficiency in at least one systems language (Java, Go, C++, Python).
• Experience with microservices, containers (Docker/Kubernetes), and cloud infrastructure.
• Proven track record of building and operating high-scale production systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
