As a Senior Member of Technical Staff based in Seattle, WA, you will drive innovative infrastructure solutions at scale. Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable data center infrastructure for Oracle Cloud.
- Lead engineering efforts to optimize power, cooling, and networking systems.
- Develop automation tools and scripts for rapid deployment of global facilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware and software solutions.
- Perform capacity planning and performance modeling for new data centers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical roadmaps.
- Stay ahead of industry trends in sustainable data center technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field; Master's preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in data center engineering or cloud infrastructure.
- Expertise in server hardware, networking, and storage systems.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or similar for automation and tooling.
- Strong knowledge of hyperscale data center operations and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
