Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable bare-metal provisioning systems for global data centers.
• Develop highly reliable and secure infrastructure components for compute services.
• Tackle complex challenges in distributed systems and high-availability architectures.
• Optimize performance of compute provisioning workflows handling millions of servers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate provisioning with OCI services.
• Build and maintain automation tools for infrastructure deployment and management.
• Drive innovation in bare-metal compute capabilities and provisioning efficiency.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical roadmaps and architecture decisions.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience; 8+ years in systems engineering.
• Strong expertise in distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and bare-metal provisioning.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Go, Python, C++, or Java.
• Experience with Linux systems, networking, and virtualization technologies.
• Proven track record scaling infrastructure for large-scale production environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle ambiguous, high-impact challenges.
