Overview

Do you have a passion for designing and developing new frameworks/cloud services and working with Oracle's most critical customers? As a Linux OS expert, you will join a team building a new cloud service to enhance collaboration among development and operations teams. This role requires a highly self-motivated individual with deep expertise across hardware, OS, cloud, and security to evolve the service with new capabilities and optimizations.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop innovative frameworks and cloud services for Linux OS.
• Collaborate with engineers to build and evolve a new cloud service.
• Improve collaboration between development and operations teams.
• Optimize service performance and add new capabilities over time.
• Provide deep expertise in Debian Linux OS internals and troubleshooting.
• Integrate hardware, OS, cloud infrastructure, and security components.
• Work directly with Oracle's most critical customers on requirements.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to technical roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Expert-level knowledge of Debian Linux OS and kernel development.
• 5+ years experience in cloud services and framework design.
• Strong understanding of hardware, OS, cloud, and security integration.
• Proven track record of building scalable, high-performance services.
• Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
