Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Senior Member of Technical Staff (IC3) in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, passionate about operating distributed systems at hyper scale using cloud native best practices. You will develop solutions that delight Oracle's cloud customers. Targeting expertise in Kubernetes, Virtualization, Container orchestration, Networking, Security, DevOps, Database, Java, and Python.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable distributed systems using Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Optimize virtualization and networking for high-performance cloud environments.
• Develop secure, resilient infrastructure with a focus on cloud native security practices.
• Build and maintain DevOps pipelines for automated deployments and monitoring.
• Enhance database systems for hyper-scale data management and performance.
• Write high-quality code in Java and Python to solve complex technical challenges.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-facing cloud solutions.
• Drive innovation in operating systems at massive scale, troubleshooting production issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development with distributed systems.
• Strong proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
• Expertise in Java, Python, and cloud native technologies.
• Hands-on experience with networking, security, and DevOps practices.
• Proven track record working with databases in high-scale environments.
