Job Description
Overview
Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks, and related systems at Oracle. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance, scalable solutions that power enterprise cloud services. Join our Austin team to innovate in cutting-edge database and cloud technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable software solutions for Oracle's database and cloud platforms.
- Develop high-quality code using Java, C++, Python, or similar languages.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in production environments.
- Optimize performance of databases, applications, and network components.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define technical requirements.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior team members.
- Implement automated testing and CI/CD pipelines for reliable deployments.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and contribute to open-source projects.
Qualifications
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of software development experience in enterprise environments.
- Strong proficiency in Java, C++, or Python with database expertise (Oracle DB preferred).
- Experience with distributed systems, cloud computing, and microservices.
- Proven track record of troubleshooting complex software issues.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
