Join a rapidly expanding team in Nashville working on critical Compute services in the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Cloud Compute Organization. As a Senior Member of Technical Staff, you will design, develop, and optimize high-performance cloud compute solutions at massive scale. Collaborate with top engineers to drive innovation in OCI's core infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable distributed systems for OCI Compute services.
• Optimize performance and reliability of virtual machines and bare metal instances.
• Develop tools and automation for cloud infrastructure provisioning and management.
• Debug complex production issues across large-scale compute clusters.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver new compute features.
• Conduct performance analysis and capacity planning for global data centers.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical architecture decisions.
• Stay current with industry trends in cloud computing and virtualization technologies.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience (8+ years).
• Strong expertise in systems programming (C/C++/Rust/Go).
• Deep knowledge of operating systems, networking, and virtualization (KVM/Xen).
• Experience with distributed systems and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Proven track record of production systems at massive scale.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and strong communication abilities.
