Job Description
Overview
Supports the design, deployment, and operations of a large-scale global Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environment. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability, scalability, and security of cloud network services. Drives innovation in network architecture to meet enterprise-level demands.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable network architectures for OCI global deployments.
- Deploy and manage virtual cloud networks (VCNs), subnets, and gateways.
- Monitor and optimize network performance using OCI tools and telemetry.
- Troubleshoot complex network issues in multi-region environments.
- Implement security controls including firewalls, DDoS protection, and encryption.
- Automate network provisioning with Terraform, OCI CLI, and Ansible.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline network integrations.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor junior network engineers.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in cloud networking, with 4+ years in OCI or AWS.
- Expertise in TCP/IP, BGP, VPN, and Direct Connect configurations.
- Proficiency in OCI services: VCN, Load Balancers, FastConnect, Service Gateway.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go for automation.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.
- CCNP, OCI Networking Professional, or equivalent certification required.
