Overview

Oracle is seeking a Senior Network Development Engineer to support the design, deployment, and operations of a large-scale global Oracle edge security environment. This role is critical for ensuring secure, high-performance network infrastructure across the United States. U.S. Citizenship is required with the ability to pass a federal background check (SF-85).

Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable global edge security network solutions.
• Deploy and configure network infrastructure for Oracle's edge environments.
• Monitor and optimize network performance to ensure high availability.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues in production environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security and compliance initiatives.
• Implement automation and scripting for network operations.
• Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability management.
• Document network designs, configurations, and operational procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Networking, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in network engineering and development.
• Expertise in edge computing, CDN, and security protocols (e.g., BGP, TLS).
• Proficiency with networking tools (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, F5).
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to pass SF-85 federal background check.
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience with government compliance.
