Overview

We’re looking for a Senior Manager of Network Development for the Network Region Build team in Ireland. This role requires expertise in building high-performing teams, coaching individuals, and designing, implementing, and maintaining highly available, scalable networks. You’ll manage design delivery and platform lifecycle while tackling new challenges in network innovation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of network engineers focused on region build initiatives.
• Oversee the design and implementation of scalable, highly available network architectures.
• Manage the full platform lifecycle, from planning to decommissioning.
• Coach and mentor team members to foster skill development and career growth.
• Drive delivery of network projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget execution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align network strategies with business goals.
• Identify and mitigate risks in network deployments and operations.
• Innovate network solutions to support Oracle's global infrastructure needs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in network engineering with 5+ years in leadership roles.
• Proven track record building and managing high-performing teams.
• Deep expertise in designing scalable, highly available networks (e.g., BGP, OSPF, MPLS).
• Strong experience with network automation and orchestration tools.
• Excellent coaching and people management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; CCIE or equivalent preferred.
