Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain highly reliable network infrastructure for OCI's global cloud platform.
• Proactively monitor network performance and health using advanced tools and telemetry.
• Lead root cause analysis and post-mortem reviews for network incidents to prevent recurrence.
• Automate network reliability tasks using Python, Ansible, and Terraform for efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize network capacity and resilience.
• Develop and maintain runbooks, alerting systems, and failover procedures.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues in production environments under tight SLAs.
• Contribute to network architecture improvements and reliability engineering best practices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in network engineering or reliability roles in large-scale environments.
• Deep expertise in BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or OCI preferred).
• Strong proficiency in Linux, scripting (Python/Bash), and infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Experience with network monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk.
• Proven track record of on-call rotation and handling production incidents.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, startup-like culture.
