Overview
Senior Oracle DBA role (L2+/L3) for a major bank in Delhi, India. Support database upgrades, migrations, new product implementations, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. Requires 10+ years of experience in Oracle database management and handling customer escalations.
Responsibilities
- Perform Oracle database upgrades and patch management.
- Lead database migrations to new platforms or cloud environments.
- Implement and configure new Oracle products and features.
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization of databases.
- Troubleshoot complex L2/L3 database issues and incidents.
- Handle customer escalations and provide resolution support.
- Monitor database health, backups, and recovery processes.
- Collaborate with teams on capacity planning and disaster recovery.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of Oracle DBA experience in large-scale environments.
- Expertise in Oracle 12c/19c, RAC, Data Guard, and GoldenGate.
- Strong skills in performance tuning using AWR, ADDM, and SQL tuning.
- Experience with database migrations and cloud transitions (OCI/AWS).
- Proven track record handling production escalations.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
