Overview

Sr. Advanced Services Engineer, CSS Tech Delivery, Database, based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. As a Senior Oracle DBA, you will provide expert database administration, optimization, and support for Oracle environments in mission-critical systems. Deliver high-impact solutions to enhance performance, security, and reliability for enterprise clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Oracle database instances, including installation, configuration, and upgrades.
• Perform database tuning, performance monitoring, and optimization using AWR, ADDM, and SQL tuning tools.
• Implement high availability solutions such as Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and GoldenGate replication.
• Handle backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures using RMAN and other tools.
• Ensure database security through patching, user management, auditing, and compliance with standards.
• Troubleshoot complex issues, resolve incidents, and perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with development teams on schema design, PL/SQL development, and application integration.
• Provide 24/7 on-call support and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as Oracle DBA with versions 12c, 19c, or higher.
• Oracle certifications such as OCP, OCM preferred.
• Expertise in Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and Exadata environments.
• Strong skills in SQL, PL/SQL, performance tuning, and shell scripting.
• Experience with cloud databases like Oracle Cloud, AWS RDS, or Azure.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
