Overview

Senior Pre-Sales Engineer / Oracle DBA based in Bogotá, Colombia. We seek a technical expert with strong Oracle Database background to join our strategic pre-sales team. Design cloud migrations and data optimization solutions, demystifying cloud for clients modernizing legacy Oracle environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical pre-sales demos and proof-of-concepts for Oracle cloud migrations.
• Design architectures for Oracle Database modernization and optimization.
• Support sales team with technical expertise on cloud and data management.
• Assess client environments and recommend Oracle best practices.
• Conduct workshops on Oracle cloud benefits and hybrid strategies.
• Collaborate on RFPs, providing detailed technical proposals.
• Troubleshoot complex Oracle issues in pre-sales scenarios.
• Stay updated on Oracle innovations and competitive landscapes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as Oracle DBA with hands-on cloud experience (OCI preferred).
• Expertise in Oracle Database 19c/21c administration and performance tuning.
• Proven pre-sales or solutions engineering experience.
• Strong communication skills in Spanish and English.
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or OCI for hybrid/multi-cloud Oracle setups.
• Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field.
