Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Principal Consultant - Blood Bank to design, configure, activate, and support Oracle Health EHR (Millennium) implementations for Federal agencies including the Department of Defense, U.S. Coast Guard, Veterans Affairs, and Indian Health Service. This role focuses on delivering specialized Blood Bank solutions within the Millennium platform across the United States. Responsibilities

• Design and configure Blood Bank modules within Oracle Health EHR (Millennium) to meet Federal agency requirements.
• Lead implementation, activation, and go-live support for Blood Bank functionalities across DoD, VA, USCG, and IHS.
• Conduct system configuration, workflow optimization, and customization for transfusion medicine and inventory management.
• Perform testing, validation, and troubleshooting of Blood Bank interfaces and integrations.
• Provide expert consulting on best practices for blood product tracking, donor management, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, clinicians, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Deliver training sessions and create documentation for end-users and administrators.
• Support ongoing maintenance, upgrades, and optimization of deployed Blood Bank systems.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience implementing Oracle Health EHR (Millennium) Blood Bank modules.
• Proven track record with Federal healthcare systems (DoD, VA, USCG, or IHS).
• Deep expertise in blood banking workflows, transfusion services, and inventory management.
• Strong knowledge of HL7 interfaces, FHIR standards, and EHR integrations.
• Experience with system design, configuration, testing, and go-live support.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in secure, regulated environments.
