Overview

Senior Principal Developer/Architect role in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) based in Serbia. Lead the design, development, and architecture of scalable cloud-native solutions on OCI. Drive innovation and technical excellence across complex, high-impact projects for enterprise customers.

Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end OCI solutions including compute, storage, networking, and security services.
• Lead development of microservices and containerized applications using Kubernetes and OCI Container Engine.
• Design and optimize high-performance, scalable systems for multi-tenant cloud environments.
• Mentor senior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic initiatives.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code using Terraform and OCI Resource Manager.
• Drive performance tuning, cost optimization, and reliability engineering for production workloads.
• Contribute to OCI product roadmap through technical leadership and customer engagement.
• Conduct code reviews, technical deep dives, and ensure adherence to Oracle best practices.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of software development experience with strong expertise in cloud architectures.
• Deep knowledge of OCI, AWS, or Azure services; OCI certification highly preferred.
• Proficiency in Java, Go, Python, or similar languages for backend development.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and DevOps practices.
• Proven track record leading large-scale distributed systems projects.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts.
