Oracle is seeking a Senior Principal GPU/AI Datacenter Planner to lead strategic planning and optimization of GPU/AI infrastructure across our datacenter portfolio. This role drives the design, deployment, and scaling of high-performance computing environments to support Oracle's cloud AI initiatives. Responsibilities

• Develop long-term capacity planning strategies for GPU/AI datacenters to meet cloud service demands.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to architect scalable GPU cluster deployments and optimize resource utilization.
• Analyze performance metrics and forecast hardware needs for AI/ML workloads.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives for datacenter expansion, including site selection and power/cooling assessments.
• Evaluate emerging GPU technologies and recommend procurement strategies aligned with Oracle's roadmap.
• Partner with supply chain to ensure timely delivery and integration of AI hardware.
• Drive cost optimization models for GPU infrastructure while maintaining high availability.
• Mentor junior planners and contribute to industry best practices in AI datacenter operations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in datacenter planning, with 5+ years focused on GPU/AI infrastructure.
• Deep expertise in NVIDIA GPUs, AI accelerators, and high-performance computing architectures.
• Proven track record in large-scale datacenter capacity forecasting and modeling.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing, hyperscale environments, and AI workload optimization.
• Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in tools like Excel, Python, or capacity planning software.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
