Overview

We are seeking a Senior/Principal Member of Technical Staff - Backend Developer to work remotely on the backend of Oracle Health's next-generation Clinical Applications. Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate with Oracle databases and cloud services.
• Optimize application performance and ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with frontend teams, product managers, and stakeholders to define technical requirements.
• Write clean, testable code and conduct thorough code reviews to uphold quality standards.
• Troubleshoot complex issues in production environments and implement effective solutions.
• Participate in agile processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical documentation and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years of backend development experience with Java and enterprise applications.
• Strong expertise in Spring Framework, Hibernate, and relational databases (Oracle preferred).
• Proficiency in cloud platforms (OCI, AWS, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with healthcare standards (HL7, FHIR) is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
