Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Full Stack Developers with a passion for building innovative clinical applications, services, and user interfaces. As a hands-on Senior Principal Member of Technical Staff Engineer working remotely across the United States, you will play a key role in designing and delivering next-generation healthcare applications focused on world-class accessibility, usability, and cross-platform support. Leveraging cloud-native best practices, you will help operate distributed systems at hyper scale and contribute to transforming healthcare delivery for better patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities

  • Design and architect scalable, cloud-native full stack applications for clinical healthcare systems using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
  • Develop responsive user interfaces with modern frameworks ensuring WCAG-compliant accessibility and seamless cross-platform experiences.
  • Build and optimize backend services, microservices, and APIs to support hyper-scale distributed systems in healthcare environments.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and clinical experts to define technical requirements and deliver innovative patient-centric solutions.
  • Implement secure data pipelines and integrations for healthcare data standards like FHIR, HL7, and HIPAA-compliant processing.
  • Lead code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and drive best practices in agile development and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Operate and troubleshoot production systems at scale, leveraging observability tools for monitoring and performance optimization.
  • Prototype and iterate on new features to enhance usability, patient outcomes, and clinician workflows in next-gen applications.
  • Contribute to open-source projects or internal tools that advance Oracle's healthcare technology stack.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends in healthcare IT, cloud computing, and AI to inform strategic technical decisions.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 12+ years of professional experience as a full stack developer building enterprise-scale applications.
  • Expertise in modern frontend technologies including React, Angular, or Vue.js with strong CSS/HTML5 and accessibility practices.
  • Proficiency in backend languages such as Java, Node.js, Python, or Go, with experience in RESTful/GraphQL APIs and microservices.
  • Demonstrated experience with cloud platforms, preferably Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), AWS, or Azure, including containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
  • Strong understanding of healthcare standards (FHIR, HL7) and data security/compliance (HIPAA, GDPR).
  • Proven track record of delivering high-availability systems in production environments at hyper scale.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with experience in agile methodologies and collaborative team environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing clinical or healthcare-specific applications with a focus on patient outcomes and clinician usability.
  • Advanced knowledge of Oracle technologies including OCI services, Oracle Database, or Fusion Applications.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML integration for healthcare analytics or predictive modeling.
  • Contributions to open-source projects or publications in software engineering/healthcare IT.
